First Mukogawa Eco Marathon

Date and Time: September 18, 2023 (Monday, public holiday) *Rain or shine In the event of a typhoon or similar approaching, if a storm warning is issued by 7:00 am, the event will be postponed.

Events: 10 kilometers, Parent-Child Fun Run 5 kilometers Start: 11:00 am (all events start simultaneously) Time Limit: 90 minutes, but the recorded time on the official website is up to 75 minutes. (Beginners are also welcome to participate.)

Course: Mukogawa Riverside Park (Turnaround point at the 2,500-meter mark around Bridge on National Route 171: beyond the Yamate Ohashi, 5 kilometers is one round trip, 10 kilometers is two round trips)

Capacity: 300 participants Eligibility: Healthy individuals high school age and above Venue: Mukogawa Riverside Park, under Yamate Ohashi Nearest Station: Approximately 10 minutes on foot from JR Koshien-guchi Station

Valuables: We do not accept baggage storage (there is a baggage storage area). Please manage your valuables individually.

Participation Fee: 10 kilometers: 3,700 yen Parent-Child Fun Run 5 kilometers: 2,700 yen (including insurance)

Participation Award: 10 kilometers: Trail running backpack, separate presents for 5 kilometer parent/kid run.

Commendation: 10 kilometers: Up to 3rd place for both men and women, by age group: only 1st place By age category: under 30 years old, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s (both men and women)

Note:

  • Participants should be mindful of their health and participate at their own discretion.
  • From an environmental perspective, please use public transportation. There is no parking lot at the venue. Also, please cooperate in taking your trash with you.
  • In the event of rain, please prepare a 45-liter garbage bag or similar to ensure your belongings do not get wet.
  • There will be a course explanation before the race. Please be sure to listen to the explanation and confirm the course. If you run without confirming the course and make a course error, your official time cannot be recorded.
  • Attach the number card to the chest (front) and please return it after crossing the finish line. Also, be careful not to bend the IC chip embedded in the card. When crossing the finish line, video recording will also be used to check your time and ranking, so please make sure the number card is visible.
  • Please throw the paper cups used for hydration into the trash bin without crushing them.
  • After finishing, those who placed 1st to 3rd overall will be awarded, so please wait inside the venue.
